| The 15th hole is lengthened to 400 yards with a cross bunker to the right side which the player must carry; or land longer left, short of the 2nd cross bunker. A small creek impinges left and then across the fairway. This “Shinnecock” downhill fairway hole creates a challenging shot to an uphill plateaued green and a very deep front side bunker. |
